50 grades of visibility

The decision to enter a market – to become visible to the actors, especially the buyers in that market – is made.

Then you have a multitude of possibilities to make your brand know in that market, all depending on your overall strategic sales objectives and, naturally, your budget.

I’ve plotted various ways of communicating your brand depending on their impact on your sales volume and for how long each activity might take to have an effect on your sales.

  • Do you agree? or tell me which one to change and why.

To get a more complete picture, I wanted to size the bobbles according to cost, which proved difficult as the duration of each action is not really taken in to account – yet an essential element in reaching your target audience and produce an impact. I was always told that repetition is an essential part of marketing and a potent way of remaining in the mind of the buyer.

Just like cross-marketing (using multiple channels of communication) can amplify the sum beyond the impact of each channel of communication.

I’ve been developing business internationally for almost 30 years, mainly within Europe being based in France. I like cheese, beer and what IT can do for us.
